The Position:

Engage with medical experts to build a long term scientific partnership and advocacy. Strategically prepare and support the development, launch, and commercialization of BI products and development program through medical activities e.g., advisory board meeting, expert forum, clinical trial support, and provide education of KOLs/Key Stakeholders through CME programs, and by the scientific exchange seeking external insight. Participate or lead projects and specific initiatives. Provide a training and collaboration to BI internal staffs for responsible therapeutic area and other cross-functions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

KOL Management & Medical Support

  • Lead in KOL mapping/segmentation and create advocacy development plan to effectively engage with key medical experts of responsible therapeutic area.
  • Using advanced influential skills, develop professional relationships, build advocacy and gain contributions of KOL/decision makers, including the ability to handle challenging situations.
  • Collect, analyse, and report medical insights that may impact BI development plans, trial designs, or commercial plan.
  • Provide and discuss advanced level scientific information and data to healthcare professionals to ensure quality and accuracy of medical and scientific information on new treatment options including BI products, selected areas of therapeutic interest and pipeline overviews, when appropriate

Clinical Development and Pharmacovigilance Support

  • Collaborate with LPV manager to successfully raise awareness of AE/SAE report and establish effective reporting process to BI colleagues and health care professionals.
  • Support the investigator nomination, trial feasibility, as needed, as part of a cross-functional team with Clin Ops and the Medical Advisor and others as appropriate. development strategies and facilitates and guides the Investigator-Initiated study (IIS) process.
  • Support the investigators to comply with the IIS process in accordance with the guidelines and SOPs, providing knowledge and guidance for legal and financial local regulations, as appropriate.

Internal BI Support

  • Liaise and provide up-to-date medical information and KOL insights to BI colleagues to develop medical strategies in brand plan and provide training (i.e. disease state and product).
  • Screen, evaluate and suggest external to internal business collaborations.
  • Serve as a resource and/or team leader for projects and collaborate with internal colleagues as assigned by Medical director and/or therapeutic area teams.

Requirements :

  • PharmD, pharmacist, PhD and other life sciences with solid medical/technical background and proven competencies influencing skills, clinical research insight, business and market knowledge.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in MSL
  • Experience in specialty field is preferrable
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Proactive and assertive attitude
  • Team- and networker
