Job requirements:
- Matric
- Must have 3 years of experience working with Sage 300 People.
- Payroll certificate will be an advantage.
Main Purpose
- Process & Maintain Weekly & Monthly Wages Payroll. Provide all the necessary payroll reports to the Finance and Salaries departments.
Job responsibilities:
- End-to-end processing of company payroll for wage staff: Weekly and Monthly
- Collate payroll information, process, produce reports, and distribute to relevant managers and departments and file accordingly.
- Prepare reports of monthly contributions to be incorporated into the final reports to be submitted to the relevant recipients/statutory authorities.
- Prepare all payroll-related reports for the Manager & Finance department.
- Input new employees and terminations on the system, as well as changes to information.
- Handle staff queries regarding payroll
- Run month-end processes.
- Prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports.
- Work closely with Group Human Resources
- Prepare and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with TAX and Financial Year-end processing and reconciliation.
- Assist with Annual Finance Audit
- Ad hoc HR and Payroll matters
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the direct Manager or Director
- Process month end – Submit monthly External Reports & schedules. i.e. MIBFA (SEIFSA), Sizwe Medical Aid, Insurances, etc.
- Capture hours and input all information on the Sage 300 People system, manage the TNA Time and Attendance System

- Office based.
- Is subject to work beyond normal working hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays should the need arise.
- Required to attend and participate in continuing educational programs designed to keep you abreast of changes in your profession.
- A legal driving license.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, including formal and official communication and making presentations.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances so warrant.
