The role:
- Build on our amazing success in the New Zealand market in the last few years!
- Use your knowledge of the NZ market and your C-suite connections to create opportunities to convey Lab3's unique value proposition.
- Create a portfolio of strategic leads. Generate and maintain a profitable sales pipeline
- Focus on selling LAB3 products and IP to accelerate our client’s transformation
- Build and maintain relationships across the cloud industry to grow LAB3 business
- Utilise your experience in selling multi-million dollar deals to successfully negotiate the sales cycles involved.
- Liaise with the wider team and cohesively work on developing strategic account plans for target accounts
- Focus on new business development, particularly in the Wellington region- you will be the only sales person based there, so the opportunities are amazing!
- Engage in target-market analysis. Stay on top of happenings in our niche market.
- Generate new business opportunities and identify client issues, capture requirements, problem solve, and present our products as the winning solution.
- Contribute to plans and GTM strategies towards accelerating growth of LAB3 and our partners.
- Work as a productive member of the sales team to meet revenue and sales targets, both team and individual.
- Amazing energy, optimism and a great work ethic. Numbers and targets motivate you and you have a track record of exceeding targets.
- You will have experience in new business development in technology sales, including Microsoft solutions, Cloud IaaS, PaaS, DevOps, Digital Transformation, O365 & the Modern Workplace
- Experience in selling multi-million dollar technology solutions & services
- You understand customer industry demands and are relentless about looking out for new business opportunities.
- Good commercial understanding coupled with a sound technical foundation
- Top notch skills in building and maintaining relationships at Senior, Director & C-suite levels.
- Great communication & relationship building skills , the ability to think outside the box
- Deep understanding of the enterprise sector, particularly in Wellington, ideally based in Wellington. If this is a market that is new to you, this may not be the right role for you
- The ability to work productively in a remote-first environment-- this should be something that is a positive for you.. We do not have an office in Wellington, with Auckland being our only office in New Zealand.
