The Opportunity
To support these initiatives we are looking for Regional Transformation Business Analyst. If you have some Banking / Financial Services and change delivery experience and wish to progress your career to the next level in a large global organisation, let us have a conversation.
What you’ll do:
Demonstrates working knowledge of HSBC Global Business Transformation Framework and stands as key guardian of it being followed by Project teams.
Translate business needs and project objectives into a clear deliverables.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify pain points, and determine opportunities for enhancements
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document business requirements and use cases
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for solutions
Write Business Requirements Document (BRD) & Software Specifications Requirements (SRS) Document.
Write User Stories and UML Diagrams *Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram, State Diagram, Use Case,...)
Support the project manager with release planning, and vision/roadmap creation/update.
Demonstrate to stakeholders the solution scope, business value, solution design, requirements, and identified risks.
Backlog grooming; writing, managing, verifying, and prioritizing user stories.
Responsible for defect management and change control.
Identify and document acceptance criteria and acceptance of implemented user stories.
What you will need to succeed in the role
- 5+ years of experience with business analysis role on complex projects across countries or regions
- Understanding of the Project lifecycle, including working knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practice techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong planning, organizing and Influencing skills
- Ability to manage and coach teams
- Strong customer handling skills
- Business analysis certificates are desirable
