POSITION SUMMARY

Lend day-to-day support the Marriott CALA Loyalty activities across marketing and operations, including compiling reports, maintaining asset library, processing/tracking invoices and supporting event/activation organization. This position reports to the Director, Loyalty Marketing. The coordinator is an integral hub for the entire Loyalty team, liaising with stakeholders in the Continent team, HQ, and in market. The position is based in Mexico City, Mexico.

CRITICAL TASKS

  • Coordinate and monitor marketing activities across various channels, including digital platforms, social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising.
  • Support the execution of loyalty activations and other marketing events, including logistics, setup, promotional materials, and attendee engagement.
  • Proofread and review translations for any loyalty program materials and internal communication channels, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate messaging across different languages.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the organization's brand image and identity.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing internal events, and handling files.
  • Monitor and pull reports on marketing campaigns and loyalty goals and metrics.
  • Audit and manage content on the Loyalty MGS Site for CALA.
  • Manage and maintain the asset library, create quick links and QR codes, assist in creating landing pages.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Serve as the central point of contact and knowledge hub for CALA region, handling information requests from internal stakeholders regarding loyalty programs and initiatives.
  • Review and process invoices with the approval of the Director and maintain detailed invoice and budget trackers to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Monitor the travel budget of the department to ensure compliance with allocated funds.
  • Represent the Loyalty team on internal calls, providing updates to the wider team, and collecting necessary information.
  • Create engaging presentations to communicate Loyalty updates effectively.
  • Deliver content and imagery for diverse loyalty marketing campaigns and placements, including Marriott Bonvoy Escapes and Marriott Bonvoy Traveler editorial.

Related Work Experience

  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Supervisory Experience

Education

  • B.A. in marketing or communications or hospitality

Skills and Competencies

  • Use computer systems and software packages to input, access, modify, store, or output information
  • Enter and retrieve data from computer systems using a keyboard, mouse or trackball.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather the information necessary to manage projects, achieve goals, and resolve problems
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
