We are looking for a highly motivated individual to accelerate our vehicle-level testing by supporting and coordinating local operations, assisting with troubleshooting and incident reporting as needed. This is an individual contributor role; you are still expected to perform testing regularly.
(This role requires the flexibility of traveling to domestic or international destinations as necessary)
- Drive local training efforts to continuously.
- Support the data collection effort to improve vehicle performance.
- Provide real-time on-site support, proactively resolving any roadblocks to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training to local staff on step changes between software iterations.
- Lead real-world testing according to test specifications, as well as providing ad-hoc support for business-critical tasks and other team needs.
- Analyze test data, triage software issues and abnormal vehicle behaviors using Tesla inhouse designed proprietary software tools.
- Communicate with developers and test engineers, be on-call for questions/comments if necessary.
- Maintain and document fleet conditions, coordinate repairs/retrofits as necessary.
- Clean driving record and safe driving habits.
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong computer skills, in particular a working knowledge and familiarity with MacOS, Linux, and Windows, as well as strong MS Office skills.
- Command Line Interface experience required.
- Fundamental understanding of ADAS and their sensors.
- Strong knowledge of electric vehicle systems and how they work, as well as strong troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Project management and/or fleet operations experiences preferred.
