ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Summary:
The Head of Training (EPD) is responsible for improving the productivity of the organization's employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. To be successful in people retention and development for Sales Force, this position should have solid experience in pharmaceutical industry, organizing trainings, designing the educational curriculum and talent development
2. Main Responsibilities:
Assess Employee Needs
- Understanding the current strengths and weaknesses of Sales Force and involve a variety of assessment methods to define gaps, training needs and training approach for Sales Force.
- Oversees all activities of the department and identifies the business’s developmental needs ensuring that there is consistency with core competencies and goals.
Design and Implement Training Plans
- Design and ensure consistency in the delivery and application of training standards across the business and oversees the planning, prioritization, and development of new training programs and initiatives, ensuring that these programs and initiatives are consistent with the business overall strategies, objectives, and needs.
- To train all employees in basic and advanced technical skills, both in the field and classroom.
- Ensure all new employees receive an initial on-boarding training that coincides with their position and background
- Enhance and develop Sales Competencies Framework for Vietnam
Evaluate Results of Employee Training
- In charge of assessing their latest performance levels to ensure the employees adequately learned the desired lessons and skills. This includes making sure the employees are always complying with regulations and standards, as well evaluating the training program, instructors or materials to find better or less expensive ways to teach employees in the future.
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
Planning and Budgeting: Propose and develop annual training strategy/plan and budget and manage the training cost as approved budget.
Compliance: Ensure self and team compliance with compliance policies
Training process and system: take lead in developing and managing training process and system
Responsible for managing training related projects as assigned by line managers
3. Supervisory Responsibilities

MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 8-10 years of total experience required
- 2-3 years in management consulting with a top tier healthcare firm is preferred.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
- University/post-University degree (pharmacy or medicine degree is preferred)
