Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers (gardening experience is an asset)
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Show initiative to keep the store and warehouse organized and clean
Experience/Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in garden centres or large department stores, is preferred but not required
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to lift 50lb bags/boxes
- Be organized, numbers-oriented for accurate stock-keeping
- Drivers license is an asset but not required
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required
