Treats Tea Room Café is hiring for Kitchen Assistants!
We are a small family owned and operated restaurant that has been in business for over 50 years. We take pride in our food and service, and we believe that it is important for employees to feel valued and supported when taking time off to care for family or enjoy life.
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to help with various kitchen duties, including washing dishes, making sandwiches, preparing sauces and salads. The goal is to one day become a part of the family and help provide customers with a pleasant experience in our restaurant.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or other related fields preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and with limited supervision.
- Have basic knowledge of cooking methods and ingredients.
- Be able to follow instructions.
- Be able to work at a quick, yet thorough and thorough manner.
- Be punctual and dependable.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
