RWE is working at full speed on green hydrogen projects in Europe and other regions of the world - together with our partners from business, industry, research and politics.
In the RWE Group, we have bundled our hydrogen activities in a Hydrogen Hub and are looking for strengthening our fast-growing team.
The position "Senior Manager Hydrogen Commercial Analysis NL" reports to the Head of Hydrogen Global Commercial Backbone, who is located in Germany/Essen. The advertised position focusses on the commercial analysis of RWE’s H2 projects in the Netherlands and includes the functional lead of 1 commercial analyst. Close cooperation with the commercial analysis teams in Germany and the UK is required.
Key responsibilities
End-to-end optimization of renewables/electrolyser/storage projects in the Netherlands
Preparation of bid analysis & strategies in the context of (integrated) H2 tenders
Pricing of hydrogen products in preparation for sales meetings/negotiations
Assess implications of (draft) regulations on LCoH and funding gaps
Analysis of key value drivers, e.g. CapEx, RES mix, storage costs
Derive green H2 market prices and willingness to pay of customers for green H2
Benchmark of domestic green H2 production with imports (pipeline & derivatives)
Support of H2 project developers with LCoH and NPV calculations in early project stages
Cooperate with different business areas of the RWE Group, especially RWE Supply & Trading
Skills
Degree in the fields of economics, natural sciences or similar
Experience in the development of business models, e.g. DCF models or complex optimisations
Strong stakeholder management and experiences in leading (project) teams
Sound experience in the energy or hydrogen sector
Analytical mindset as well as enthusiasm, assertiveness and decisiveness
Distinct communication skills and confident appearance as well as teamwork as a lived practice
Business fluent in English, both written and spoken
Advantage, but not a must
Further language skills (German, Dutch)
Experiences in risk controlling
