We have an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Drop Van Driver working daytime, to become part of our operations, committed to providing a first-class service to our customers. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. The finish time is approximate and depends on the day load and traffic congestion.
You will be a highly motivated, well-organised, hard-working team member delivering goods from our warehouse in Thorpe Satchville, LE14 2DQ. Your main role will be delivering goods to local trade and taking payment upon delivery.
A full driving licence is essential.
Scope and Purpose of the Role
To check all goods before loading the company van and to promptly deliver the goods in good condition.
The role requirements are to deliver auto parts.
Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)
- Load up the van and ensure all items are loaded appropriately to avoid damages during transit
- Ensure that all products loaded are correct and there is nothing missing
- Take payment upon delivery when needed
- Ensure van is locked at all times when not in use or when driver is not behind the wheel
- You will need good navigational skills and be able to complete all deliveries on time
- Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
- Manual handling of products
- Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
- Man maintanance checks daily and weekly
Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Good communication & team working skills
- Full driving licence
- You will have no penalty points on your driving licence and no drink driving codes
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- A professional manner
Technical skills and behavioral competencies:
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility
- To be proactive

- Working days - Monday to Firday, daytime
- Full time - about 37.5 working hours per week. Could be more when we need to cover for holidays for other drivers if you are available.
- Additional hours are required during busy periods in order to meet the needs of our customers
- £11.50 p/h. Pay rates go up every year. We also have a bonus scheme where we share part of the profits with all employees.
