Our client is from manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Buyer / Senior Buyer to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire goods, materials, components, or services in accordance with targets for cost, quality, and delivery
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding supply management implications for business operations
- Facilitate communication between suppliers and relevant departments for processes, new projects, and activities
- Monitor and provide guidance on issues that may pose risks or opportunities for the organization
- Track market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier activity in the market
- Analyze costs, both new and existing, and review cost reduction initiatives
- Collaborate in the procurement function and explore opportunities for continuous improvement and business enhancements
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and business terms with suppliers, utilizing effective negotiation and procurement methods
- Generate and process purchase orders and order schedules
- Cultivate, maintain, and oversee supplier relationships, ensuring open lines of communication
- Conduct research to identify new components and potential suppliers
- Compile and evaluate supplier performance data to ensure contract compliance
- Contact suppliers to address issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, or invoices

Requirements:
- Min diploma and above or any relevant field
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience and Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP is a bonus
